How to join?

Please check that your organization meets the criteria for membership before submitting an application. New applications take 6-8 weeks to process, and IAPO Secretariat will update applying organizations in due course regarding each step. If you need any support with your membership application, please contact us.

Step 1: Applying organizations submit their application and supporting documents via the online form. Please note that applications for Affiliated Membership shall be done via their parent umbrella group or alliance via a specific form.

Step 2: Complete application is reviewed by the IAPO Secretariat, who can i) request further documents and information from the applying organization, or ii) send it to the IAPO Membership Committee for approval.

Step 3: IAPO Membership Committee assesses application and can: i) approve it subject to the payment of the membership fee (Full and Associate Members only), ii) request further information and documents from the applying organization, or iii) reject the application. At this stage, the Committee also assesses Fee Waiver requests (Full and Associate Members only). Please note that the approval of the membership application doesn’t automatically approve the Fee Waiver request.

Step 4: If the application is approved, and membership fees are i) paid after we contact you and send an invoice or ii) waived (Full and Associate Membership only), you can start enjoying all the benefits of becoming an IAPO member.
