About World Patient Safety Day 2022:
The WHO Global Patient Safety Action Plan (GPSAP) 2021-30 was adopted at the 74th World Health Assembly in May 2021. It offers an opportunity to contribute towards the highest and stringiest standards to reduce avoidable patient harm to zero. It is in this context that ‘Medication Safety’ has been selected as the theme for World Patient Safety Day 2022, with the slogan ‘Medication Without Harm’.
