IAPO Regional Ambassadors 2026

In 2026, IAPO appointed nine regional ambassadors and is establishing six regional hubs to provide a collaborative platform for member organisations to engage, share knowledge and expertise, and communicate their priorities and needs.

The hubs will be supported by IAPO regional ambassadors and will serve as bridges between IAPO and the work of patient organisations on the ground. They will provide a space for members to engage with IAPO’s global agendas and initiatives, translate these into meaningful action at regional, national and local levels, and ensure that members’ perspectives inform and shape IAPO’s global work.

In 2026, the ambassadors’ work will focus primarily on advancing and amplifying the UHC Compass and the Global Patient Charter on Social Participation, while co-developing the framework and governance for the regional hubs.
