2026 UHC Day Youth Capacity-Building Workshop

We are pleased to invite you to the 2026 UHC Day Youth Capacity-Building Workshop taking place online on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, from 10:00–11:30 am EDT / 15:00–16:30 CET.

As part of IAPO's activities to mark this years' UHC Day we will be co-sponsoring this workshop, to be co-hosted by UHC2030, CSEM, IFMSA, International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation, and International Student Surgical Network (Incision). This interactive workshop will equip young advocates with practical tools and skills to mobilise their communities, amplify local voices and lead action for UHC. Building on this year’s UHC Day theme, “Affordable health care, right here, right now!”, participants will explore how to make the global campaign relevant to the issues affecting their communities.

The session will provide:

  • An overview of the 2026 UHC Day campaign, Youth Challenge and advocacy resources
  • A practical exercise to develop an outreach and mobilisation plan, with feedback from experienced advocates
  • Opportunities to connect with peers and become part of a wider youth movement for UHC

Whether you are new to advocacy or already leading youth initiatives, this workshop will help you take the next step in bringing people together for health for all.
