Upcoming IAPO Regional Meeting in Latin America

Upcoming IAPO Regional Meeting in Latin America

Tuesday, 18 August 2015
Seminario de la IAPO: “Innovación, regulación y asistencia sanitaria centrada en el paciente”, 24 de Agosto 2015, Ciudad Panamá, Panamá

Past Regional Meetings have provided members with an excellent opportunity to connect with IAPO staff and Board members and inform us about your needs, with particular attention to specific regional details; make new connections and build relationships between local and national organizations; benefit from capacity building materials and training; and share disease and issue specific information.

The upcoming meeting will be no different. Not only have we arranged exclusive expert talks and seminars, but there will also be the opportunity to actively participate in workshops, to direct IAPO’s policy positions, and to network.

Activities

We are excited and honoured to be hosting several guest-speakers, including leading academics, NGOs and healthcare agencies: if attending, you will have the chance to develop networks which will be useful to developing your own actions and learning.

We are delighted that we are able to offer bursaries to a number of our members to attend the meeting, enabling active participation from 47 organizations from ten countries. IAPO staff, including our CEO Kawaldip Sehmi, will be on hand throughout the meeting.

We would like to extend our thanks in advance to Members of IAPO’s Governing Board: Eva-Maria Ruiz de Castilla for closely collaborating in the organization of the meeting; and Jolanta Bilinska and Durhane Wong-Rieger for their valuable contributions.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
