Could you join the Global Heroes team?

Applications are open for the 2016 Global Heroes team. The team honours runners from around the world who benefit from medical technology, with no restriction on manufacturer.   

2016 team

Up to 25 runners will be selected for the 2016 team, to run either the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon or the Medtronic TC 10 Mile in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota (USA). The Global Heroes weekend will take place 7-9 October 2016. 

Selected runners will receive a paid race entry for themselves and a guest and a travel package that includes airfare, accommodation and an invitation to VIP events. To qualify, runners must have a medical device, therapy or procedure to treat heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancer, chronic pain, spinal or neurological disorders, obesity and gastrointestinal and urological disorders.   

The application deadline is 6 May 2016.
