Bejon Kumar Misra, Board Member

Bejon is based in India and is the founder of the Consumer Online Foundation. He is an International Consumer Policy Expert, who has worked from India since 1983 and is Founder of the Patient Safety and Access Initiative of India Foundation and Partnership for Safe Medicines (PSM) India Initiative.  

 He is a member of several working groups and expert committees on Patient Safety and Quality of Healthcare Delivery Mechanism in India. He is a recipient of the "Distinguished Alumni Award" by the Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and the “World No-Tobacco Day Award” from the South-East Asia Region of the World Health Organization.   Experience
  • Has published several research papers and conducted several studies on Quality of Service as perceived by consumers in the Banking, insurance, healthcare, telecom, electricity and other utility services in India
  • Has represented consumer interests in more than 30 countries through various international negotiations supported by Governments and UN Organizations as a member of the Indian delegation or on behalf of Consumers International
  • Conducts skill development workshops on Consumer Dispute Resolutions and Excellence in Customer Care for public and private sector organisations
