A packed agenda awaits delegates next Monday in Geneva as 194 WHO Member States assemble for the 140th Executive Board Session Provisional Agenda 

There are some big items to discuss. WHO 'preparedness' has 5 items, Health Systems 7 items, Communicable Diseases 2 items, and Non-Communicable 5 items.

For patient access, the global shortage of medicines and vaccines is a big item. For patient safety, the management of blood and blood components is another big item.
