The 4th Global Ministerial Patient Summit will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, March 2-3, 2019 under the theme: Universal Health Coverage & Patient Safety. 

The global event will bring together health ministers from more than 50 countries, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) and patient safety experts.

During this event, efforts will be put together to define strategies that will support the integration of patient safety as an essential element in achieving universal health coverage. This is will be met by raising awareness and fostering contextual applicability, particularly in resource limited settings.
