October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a worldwide annual campaign involving thousands of organisations, to highlight the importance of breast awareness, education and research.

The month is set aside to stimulate and push forward the momentum in raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research in order to stop women dying from breast cancer and make sure that everyone affected by breast cancer receives the best possible treatment and services.
