"We are delighted to invite you to the Rare Diseases International second Annual Meeting, which will be held in the afternoon of May 25, 2016, the day before, and in the same premises, as the European Conference on Rare Diseases and Orphan Products (ECRD) in Edinburgh, Scotland.  

The event is an opportunity for RDI members to meet and discuss the advocacy agenda of the global alliance.  At the meeting, the results of the elections of the first Council of RDI will be announced and the new members of the Council will introduce themselves and the action plan for the year. 

The event is open to any other patient representative or rare disease organisation interested in building capacities and advocating for people living with rare diseases at the international level."
