Webinar: Evaluating social materiality of health interventions by measuring outcomes
This webinar that's part of a series of three will focus on the essesnce and innovative components of measurement and evaluation (M&E)of social outcomes of new business models and healthcare system strengthening interventions to better understand their effects and practical relevance.
Novartis will illustrate how their M&E work allows them to factually inform their dialogue with relevant stakeholders about successes and failures in advancing access to medicines an that requires robust M&E approaches that ultimately pursue the objective to understand how improved social outcomes will lead to improved business performance and help shift from a focus on outputs to outcomes.
Prof. Richard Laing, Co-Principal Investigator of the evaluation of Novartis Access from the Boston University School of Public Health, will set the scene. He will embed the Novartis M&E work into the global context and explore what it will take to strengthen M&E to better understand the materiality of interventions.
