Join IAPO member, the Familial Hypercholesterolemia Patients' Association, in raising awareness about Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH)!

In Brazil, a recent study indicated that 800,000 people have FH, but less than 1% of this population has been diagnosed.

Therefore, on World FH Day - September 24 - the Familial Hypercholesterolemia Patients' Association, RedIberoAmericana and HipercolBrasil will come together to campaign for early diagnosis and appropriate treatment for FH. The campaign will bring together the largest number of people living with FH to make the disease visible not only to patients, but to physicians and health authorities.
