A growing IAPO team
We would like to thank Rebecca Johnson, our Partnerships Manager, who has left IAPO after five years with us. Rebecca was responsible for overseeing fundraising, managing relationships with different IAPO funders, our Latin America work and a wide range of other activities. She will be missed and we wish her the best in the future.
We would also like to thank Interim CEO Stephen McMahon for his work and commitment at IAPO over the past five months. Stephen has overseen the organization during the search for a permanent CEO and we wish him the best for the future.
We are pleased to introduce Ziede Mesonyte as our new Operations Coordinator. Ziede joins us having worked at international organizations including Merlin/ Save the Children as an Administrator and Projects Assistant. She will be responsible for IAPO’s general communications, organizing meetings and events, databases, and financial and membership administration.
We are also pleased to welcome Rose de Mendonça as our interim Senior Membership Officer. Rose joins us after working on human rights policy issues and programmes in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s Human Rights and Democracy Department. Rose will be leading IAPO’s membership programme and outreach and engaging with patients’ organizations around the world.
