Thanking Carol Bennett, IAPO Board member

On behalf of the Board and myself, I would like to say thank you to Carol Bennett for her dedication and passion as a Board Member for IAPO. Carol contributed constructively and thoughtfully to IAPO governance and it was a fruitful term; she served as Chair of our Fundraising Committee and was a central part of the Membership Committee too.

She is a dynamic patient advocate and engaged in building collaboration between IAPO and the Australian government. We also worked together on a successful side meeting at the World Health Assembly in Geneva two years ago. Carol brought a lot of energy and knowledge about patients’ issues, policy and regulation to the Board. We wish her all the best in her future work.  

Thanking Rose de Mendonça, Interim Senior Membership Officer

We say goodbye to Rose de Mendonça​, who is leaving IAPO after working as our Interim Senior Membership Officer over the past six months. Rose has overseen our membership work during this time, attended our regional meeting in Panama and brought her organizational skills and energy to many different tasks.

We wish her the best for the future.
