Metrodora Awards Nominations Start - Empower Women Leaders in Science & Medicine

Women continue to play a leading role in driving scientific and medical breakthroughs. With each passing year, outstanding women remain committed to dismantling barriers about their participation in science and medicine, especially in key emerging regions of Emerging Asia, Latin America, Africa, Russia/CIS and the Middle East. To fuel the empowerment and recognition of women leaders, the International Alliance of Patients’ Organizations (IAPO) , together with title sponsor, Viatris, are hosting the Metrodora Awards to acknowledge amazing women achievers in science and medicine who exemplify the spirit of innovation and excellence.

 

Please show your support by nominating outstanding women leaders and achievers in science & medicine to be Metrodora Award recipients. Nominees can come from all disciplines of scientific research, clinical practice, health education, health policy, and mental health as well as patient advocacy.  

 

You can nominate any women leaders who meet our selection criteria in the four award categories:

The winners will be selected via a comprehensive review process, led by an international jury of women leaders. Winners will be awarded a grant of $10,000 USD each, announced virtually on 30 March 2022 at 4 p.m. UAE time (8 p.m. Singapore time, 12 p.m. UK time).

 

The nomination process will only be open from now till 28 February, so it’s important that you submit your nominations quickly.  

 

The nomination process is simple. Fill in the nomination form and send it to Metrodora.Awards@gcihealth.com by 11:29 p.m. (Singapore Time) on 28 February.
