Agron Bytyqi, Board Member

Agron Bytyqi is an experienced public health management professional with over 20 years of contributions to improving healthcare in Kosovo and beyond. He started his career as a clinician and later transitioned to teaching and training in healthcare and educational institutions for nearly two decades. Currently, Agron serves as the Executive Director of the Patients' Rights Association of Kosovo (PRAK), an organization where he has previously contributed as the Chair of the Board.  

  

Experience
  • Led several initiatives across various institutions and organizations focused on improving and upholding patient rights and continues to represent PRAK in international collaborations.
  • Agron is a member of the Professional Healthcare Association (PHA), where he has actively contributed to education and research in pain management.
  • Agron is dedicated to placing patients at the centre of the healthcare system and has contributed to the advancement of scientific research and evidence-based health policies, with a particular focus on incorporating patient experiences to improve the system and healthcare policies.
  • Agron's work aligns with global efforts to improve healthcare systems and patient advocacy, reflecting international best practices in public health.
