Wael Ali, Board Member

Dr. Wael Ali is a pharmacist, public health professional, and patient advocate with over 24 years of experience in pharmacy practice, healthcare systems, and public health across Egypt, the Middle East, and the USA. He currently serves as President of the Regional Office of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) for the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMRpharm),  President of the Egyptian Organization of Pharmacy (EOP), and President of Pharma Help Foundation USA, a public health research federation.

He is also President of the International Accreditation Committee in the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities, Vice President of the EMRpharm Forum, and Executive Committee Member in FIP’s Worldwide Community Pharmacy Section.

Wael Ali

Dr. Wael Ali has collaborated with patients’ organisations and health-related institutions at international, regional, and national levels.

He has worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) as a consultant, with the International Alliance of Patients’ Organizations (IAPO) on patient safety and personalized cancer care, and led advocacy projects on hepatitis C and health literacy.

He has also spearheaded humanitarian campaigns in Gaza through FIP forums.

His leadership emphasizes patient empowerment, access to medicines, and strengthening the role of pharmacists as healthcare advocates worldwide.
